Batemans Bay’s temperate climate, friendly locals and spectacular sea and river waterways dotted with tiny islands offer plenty of choice for visitors. Waterside cafes and restaurants along the town’s esplanade and wharf are perfect for enjoying the view, the dolphins and internationally acclaimed Clyde River Oysters and seafood.
Shopping malls, arcades, emporiums, boutiques and galleries are close to walkways and cycle paths that meander along the river and sea to safe swimming beaches and rock platforms teeming with marine life. Stingrays are regular visitors around the boat ramps.
