George Vartabedian: having fun paddling is always within my grasp!

Will you be joining George Vartabedian at our Batemans Bay Paddle Challenge on Saturday 6 May 2017? George is very clear: “I will never be at the pointy end of a race, but would like to promote that it is all about fun and having a workout with a purpose and number on your boat. I own 11 kayaks and have raced most of them. Winning might be beyond my grasp, having fun is always within my grasp!”

JJ’s Bonfire Night on 5 May & Paddle Fun Runs on 6 May!

 

JJ’s Bonfire 🔥Night on Friday 5 May 2017! Check-in for paddlers from 4pm, and activities for EVERYBODY from 5-9pm. Music, food vans, activities, a bonfire, fire pits and… marshmallows!! Fun, family friendly and alcohol free event for all paddlers and the local community to enjoy, all in Korners Park. Support the Batemans Bay Paddle Challenge!

Easy registering – just read this!

If you have some difficulty registering on our website, please go through these steps and it should go all… EASY!

1. Go to ‘Register now’ menu item
2. Select your nominated event by clicking on ‘add to basket’.
3. New page opens and in the top left hand side in red is a banner ‘view cart’. Click on ‘view cart’.
4. Review the cart details & ‘proceed to checkout’.
5. Order form page opens – complete your details.
6. Proceed to Paypal red banner at the bottom of page.
7. After a successful process you will receive a payment confirmation.

Note: If registering for the same event twice, you need to complete the registrations and checkout for each entry separately. Also, you need to complete the above process on one attempt, you can’t add to basket and then try to come back and find the cart at a later date.

For paddlers under 18 years, course: Batemans Bay Bridge up-stream, turn around marker buoy/return, 8km. Single (male & female categories) & double category.

Prize pool of $300 for Youth Race (proudly Sponsored by Big 4 Nelligen Holiday Park). Race course must be completed to be eligible for main prizes and for boat number draw (lucky prizes) at the presentation.
